Many families describe their child as "different" — and we say: Wonderful. Being different is exactly right here.
Gifted Children
Gifted children often struggle in mainstream schools against boredom and a far too slow learning pace. This leads to frustration, sometimes to behavioural difficulties, and rarely to genuine support. With us gifted children may follow their own pace, explore topics in depth, receive challenging questions, find intellectual kindred spirits and develop social competences in a respectful environment.
Learning Difficulties
Dyslexia or dyscalculia — mainstream schools often offer only limited support. With us the child is at the centre, not the norm. We adapt the individual learning pace, use alternative teaching methods, focus on strengths rather than weaknesses and build confidence through experiences of success.
ADHD
Children with ADHD don't need discipline, they need the right environment. In a rigid classroom they often fail — not because they don't want to, but because the system doesn't suit them. We allow movement and breaks as needed, shorter learning sessions, outdoor learning, individual structure instead of mass teaching and positive reinforcement.
High Sensitivity
Highly sensitive children feel more, hear more, perceive more. A noisy classroom can become an ordeal. In our small group in Lysabild they can withdraw to quiet areas, avoid sensory overload, receive emotional support and experience sensitivity as a strength.
Autism Spectrum
Children on the autism spectrum often have special strengths that are barely fostered in mainstream schools. We offer predictable structures, support with social interactions, consideration of sensory particularities and an environment that recognises special interests as a strength.
Multilingual Children
Children growing up between German, Danish and sometimes English carry a special treasure. We regard multilingualism as an advantage, not a problem, and offer flexible language support in all three languages.
Physical Limitations
Every situation is different. Contact us so we can work out together how to adapt learning in the best possible way.
Introverted Children
Introverted children need time to themselves to process their thoughts. We allow individual working, reduce the pressure for verbal participation and value quiet reflection as a learning strategy.
Our Promise
Every child is welcome as they are. We adapt to your child — not the other way round. Get in touch: hallo@kreativ.schule
